The garden was bulldozed because it was perceived as ‘messy' by unnamed faculty members. The sculpture was constructed out of paper bricks and functioned as a wireless internet kiosk and a monument to the lost garden. After the sculpture was abandoned the SRNE identified it as an excellent candidate for a small re-natural habitat. *Site completely destroyed by bulldozing. It has been returned to its original state as an underutilized, frequently mowed site. |
